Hey everyone! I know it’s dreary outside (at least here in North Texas), but I still found some fun things you can do with your family this weekend. Here are a few weekend happenings for the Dallas/Irving area!
- Irving: Heritage Craft Fair – (Heritage Senior Center), March 5–10. Shop for handmade items at this weeklong craft market. Hours vary each day. Final day features outside vendors and concession. Info: (972) 721-2496
- Irving: Family Movie Night – (Mustang Park Recreation), 6:30 p.m. March 9. Join in a free family friendly movie on the big screen. Concessions available for purchase. Info: (972) 556-1334
- Dallas: Loaf Love Tour – (Dallas Zoo), 9 a.m. Sampling cheese while enjoying the zoo? Yes please! First 100 people wearing orange get in free to the zoo (woot!), and everyone after that gets $1 off admission. Yes, it will probably be raining, so this is probably only good for adults who enjoy seeing the animals in their natural habitats: Monsoon Season. But it IS Texas, so it could be sunny. Who knows!? Click here for info.
Or you can cuddle up on the couch with some cocoa or coffee and begin a weekend-long movie marathon…in your pjs. No judgment here.
